This is the official website of the Geysers Geothermal Association (GGA), a non-profit trade association comprised of the various companies that constitute the geothermal industry at The Geysers in Lake and Sonoma Counties in Northern California.

The Geysers produces above 850 megawatts of electricity, and each 110 megawatts of capacity at The Geysers eliminates the need to burn approximately 1,000,000 barrels of oil per year.
The Geysers Recharge Project in Sonoma County and the Southeast Geysers Recharge Project in Lake County, recycle reclaimed tertiary treated waste water to enhance the existing steam reservoir, thereby extending the life of the steam field.
