2000 The Geysers celebrates 40 years in operation with some 350 steam wells and 80 miles of pipeline. 2003 Santa Rosa Recharge Project starts up. Project delivers 11 millions per day pf tertiary treated reclaimed water from the City of Santa Rosa to injection wells at The Geysers. |

2005 - 2007 U.S. Renewable Group (USRG) takes ownership of Bottle Rock facility, formerly Department of Water Resources (DWR), which was shut down in 1991.
2006-2007 Riverstone Holdings and the Carlyle Group acquire a significant stake in Bottle Rock. Plant is refurbished and repowered. |
